I've been playing City of Heroes for a few weeks, now, and I've noticed that there are two general types of players.

Cautious players check their teammates' health and endurance status before poking at a swarm of villains. They make sure that the tankers are ready to move forward, that the blasters and controllers are ready to provide cover fire, that the defenders are ready to provide support, and the scrappers are ready to clobber what needs to be clobbered.

Reckless players leap into swarms of villains without doing any of the above. They also tend to run well-ahead of the rest of the team, which can leave the support characers (like the designated healer and whoever is protecting him) stranded between groups of powerful villains with no way out. Reckless players tend to rack up large quantities of XP debt, and can drag cautious players down with them.

Just my two cents.

Someone on the CoH web boards broke those types down further, into a hilarious list of 10 player archetypes.

I just replied to that with one I've seen lately a lot, along with a tip for dealing with it.

(Damn the Bungee Bozos.)

I haven't run into a Bungie Bozo, yet, but I'm only just getting into power levels where teleportation powers are common enough for them to be a problem. But, I will keep that advice in mind.
